Hound Egg Hunt Returns to Palatine on March 27 at Fred P. Hall Amphitheater

Palatine Park District will host the annual Hound Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 27 at Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 256 E. Palatine Road, Palatine. There will be no walk-up day of registration for this event as registration is required prior to March 27. This fun and COVID safe event consists of an egg hunt, obstacle course, and photo opportunity.

A souvenir photo with our bunny mascot, eggs filled with treats, goody bag, and raffle entry are included in the registration fee. In addition to the egg hunt, participants will have the opportunity to visit with community sponsors. Dogs must be kept on a non-retractable leash during the event. All owners must always wear a mask. All dogs must be wearing a current rabies tag and Palatine residents must wear the Village of Palatine issued license tag to participate in this event or they must leave the area. This is a Village of Palatine ordinance and is therefore a requirement to participate in this event. Sec. 5-40.

Non-residents must bring current identification along with required paperwork to register for the event.

The registration fee is $10 for 1 dog and one owner. Additional owners may register for a $2 fee. All human and dog attendees MUST be registered to attend. Registration is required. Registration is accepted online or in person at the Community Center.

This year’s sponsors include A Closer Bond Dog School, Berkshire Hathaway – Sue Gould, and Pete & Mac’s Pet Resort.
